Altspace offers single, shared, and couple room setups with comfortable beds, warm lights, and dedicated work desks. Every living unit comes with its own bathroom with a geyser and a shower.

Kitchen staff serves 3 home style meals a day. There is also a small self serve kitchen to make your tea, coffee, snacks during the day.

Room types

There are two types of rooms - standard and premium.

Standard rooms have a size of 16 * 10 feet and are each come with a queen size bed and attached bathroom. Best suited for one person but can also be shared between 2 people. In case, you are sharing you can also ask for extra bedding.

Premium rooms have a size of 20 * 22 feet and are each fitted with a king size bed and attached bathroom. Super comfortable for couples or friends wanting to share a bigger room.

Lots taken care of

No meal ordering blues, no decisions to be made. Kitchen staff makes healthy, homely meals. That said, food delivery services operate here just in case you want a change of taste.

There is ample open space and lawn area for you to sit, enjoy your time reading a book or just marveling at the mountains. The space also features volleyball, badminton courts, indoor and board games. There are futsal and cricket grounds close by too.

The Campus

Altspace is surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, offering a year-round view of the snow-clad mountains and is close to exceptional treks like Triund, Snowline, Kareri Lake, Indrahar pass, and many more.

The campus is located about 5kms away from the Dharamshala town and the touristy part of the area, closer to the peaceful and serene rural setting with fresh mountain air and water.

There are three super friendly dogs on the campus - Pochi, Dodo, and Hippo.

Community and people are the heart of why we do what we do.

To bring the members closer, we regularly host a number of community events like bonfires, movies and sports match screening, game and story night sessions, outdoor and indoor sporting events, gardening, treks and more. You can also proactively pitch for an event if you want to organize an activity.

We highly encourage members to build meaningful friendships and take part in the activities as and how it fits in their work schedule.

Away from the hustle bustle of the town, situated in the lap of gigantic mountains, AltSpace is my home away from home. I have been here for a month now and have enjoyed every bit of it. One window of my room opens to majestic mountains and the other window opens to vast green fields.


Wifi is blazing fast and there is a power backup as well. We play games like Table tennis, Volley ball, and many other indoor games after work. I have made life long friends here. Not to mention the taste of food which is really delicious. The atmosphere is vibrant here.


I would totally recommend this place for remote workers looking for a fall back in the lap of mountains at an affordable pricing and who want to be around really great people.
